Our bodies are AMAZING – Guinness World Records

By admin Jul8,2024

Ever wanted to see a load of the world’s longest stuff in one place?

Of course you have.

Well we’ve created an epic compilation celebrating the world’s longest stuff, from the longest tongue to the longest monster truck.

We’ve picked out seven of our best records, including old classics and new favourites.

The owner of the world’s longest fingernails on a pair of hands (female), is Ayanna Williams (USA).

Ayanna has been nurturing hers for over 20 years and they now have a combined total length of 576.4 cm (18 ft 10.9 in)!

The texan nail technician uses 2-3 whole bottles of nail polish when giving herself a manicure, and it can take up to 20 hours.

Longest duration with head fully covered in bees

Nature M S (India), more commonly known as “bee man”, stayed with his head fully covered in bees for a staggering 4 hours 10 minutes and 5 seconds in Kerala, India, on 31 December 2017.

This broke the previous record by over 3 more hours.

Longest horns on a steer

From tip to tip, the rack of Poncho Via spans 323.74 cm (10 ft 7.4 in) – more than twice the width of a concert grand piano – as confirmed on 8 May 2019.

It means that this superlative steer not only possesses the largest horn spread on a living steer, but has blown all past contenders out of the water to claim the record for largest horn spread on a steer ever too.

Longest cat

Two-year-old, barivel, who’s a Maine Coon cat from Italy, measures an impressive 120 cm (3 ft 11.2 in) – longer than a baseball bat!

The large cat lives with his owners in Vigevano, Pavia, and was crowned as the longest domestic cat (living), after the record was verified on 22 May 2018.

Barivel’s owners, Cinzia Tinnirello and Edgar Scandurra, always knew he was a special cat.

Longest tongue

Nick Stoeberl from California, USA, has a 10.1cm tongue.

He’s held this record since 2012, breaking the record of Brit Stephen Taylor (9.8 cm) who had held the title since 2002.

Nick’s father was “a huge fan of KISS” and as a child Nick would imitate Gene Simmons’ infamous tongue pose, realising for the first time that his tongue was longer than others.
